my voice was taken
my word silenced,
I had no say in the outcome.
my power gone.
this is the pain of the young
in the mist of divorce.
caught in a unusual situation
between two hard rocks.
Little one, the last of us four.
I was the first before you came.
Before her I was the one whom all adored.
I never knew you would change my life.
I thought I had the world.
Daddies and mammies little boy.
How handsome I was they would say.
Whatever I asked for I got.
From the delicious sweets to the toys I wanted.
My 10 year old self was the prince.
But little did I know there was a coop coming.
I lost my place,
No longer did I feel special
All the attention gone
All my lovely yummy goodies gone
I was now stuck forever.
Stuck in the middle as the middle child.
I thought I lost my world
But I gained the universe
Each time you smiled joy leaped from within
Your laugh melted my heart away
When you cried, made me sad
Your pain hurt me as much as they did you.
You’re are now 15
You have come of age little one
Each day that goes by transformation is taking place.
From the princess you are now to the queen you will be.
Melting all the more hearts along the way.
I’m glade you were born
Nothing could ever much your worth
Even if the sweets were yummy and the toys fun
my little sister Nkhensani asked of me to write a poem about her, I hope she likes it. I only have one sister she is the best sister and sometimes shes the most irritating sister when she hits my nerves
this is a short clip of where i came from and i hope many of you can relate with this poem.
You’re a beacon on the light house
A light that can’t be hidden.
Your light shines bright in darkest night.
Directing my path and leading me.
Beautiful are your feet,
For you bring good tidings.
His Word is a lamp to your feet
And a light to your path.
The Lord directs your steps.
So you do not stumble.
Blessed are you, in your coming in
And you’re going out.
Blessed to be a blessing.
Fresh anointing, new oil,
God breathing life,
Resurrecting that which is dead.
Giving you a crown of life.
Heirs of royalty.
You were wonderfully and masterfully Made,
For such time as this.
TO MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS,
BAPTIZING THEM IN THE NAME OF THE
THE SON & THE HOLY SPIRIT
You will be missed and those whom you have impacted like myself will never forget. You no matter where you go, I will always carry you in our hearts, and I know that God will be with you where ever he takes you, and enjoy this great adventure that you are embarking at this point of your life. You have been an pastor, mentor, teacher, friend, sister and mother to be me, no words can sum up the love I have for you 😊💖❤🙌✨
New friendship, has a certain aroma to it.
Don’t you think?
It is as if, its the break of spring.
caring the sweet taste of honey,
and bring great joy to an tired old heart.
It signals the beginning of a new dawn.
One with no end in sight.
This new friendship is like bust of light
that shines in my dark days.
I find peace in knowing that you dear friends are not
Always there, never gone.
To sprinkle a little joy and happiness
on my delicious muffin called my life.

Biblical Characters vs the present generation
Acts 9 speak much of the life of Saul more famously known as Paul. The man who has written majority of the New Testament and by his testimony we can see the grace of the Lord work in him. The bible states that Saul was the type of ma who would threaten Christians and would act on his treats. Saul was a Jew and hated the Lord and his disciples his occupation was to persecute believers. Saul’s name was well known and feared among believers. Where everything changes for Saul was when He was on his way Damascus, sent there by the order of the priest to arrest and imprison believers whether man or female.
He had an encounter with the Lord Jesus, the man’s people he was persecuting. The conversation between him and Lord went as follow…
“Saul, Saul why do you persecute me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go to the city, and you will be told what you must do.”
This was when the Lord blinded Saul. Eventually Saul got healed after following the Lords instructions, there are a few things that I like about this passage of scriptures.
- The Lord at that moment could have strike down Saul for all the crimes he has committed against Jesus followers.
- Saul was healed while the Lord could have left him to be blind for the rest of his life.
- Ananias obeyed the Lord while knowing he might very well lose his life in Saul’s hand.
- Saul received the Lord Jesus as his personal saviour and began to grow in the Lords teachings
- Saul started preaching and teaching the gospel to people in the temple and also to the Jews and proving that Jesus is the Messiah
The Lord is just and fair as we been through at the start, but here we see the Lords mercy that he has towards people. I see that Jesus also died at the cross for Saul as bad of a person he is, He had probably 1000 of deaths that he was responsible for, God showed him grace. The second point his when God spoke to Saul with an audio voice, we can see that Jesus wants to have a intermit moment with the Lord, establishing a relationship between himself and Saul, while at the same time conveying the importance of the message he wanted to deliver to Saul.
As you would read on, on how the story continues we read of Gods faithful servant Ananias. God showed him a vision and went, even though he feared for his life. I believe as he went and stepped out, the Lord strengthened him.
The amazing part of the story of Saul is that he gave his life to the Jesus shortly after he was healed. The Lord turned a man who had hardened his hearts against the Lord, that just amazing. Saul after that the Lord had graces him with knowledge and understanding and in a short time preaching and proclaiming the word of God and It says that he baffled the Jews. No one could have ever predicted this man, Saul life changing this drastically and picture him as a believer.
I want you to imagine in your minds, the kind of person Saul would have been like if he lived in today’s world? I see someone like Hitler, a man who has authority and has prosecuted Christians and has committed many atrocities in his life. Would you imagine God saving that person or that person life changing for good and becoming a follower of Jesus? For me Hitler would be my modern day Saul.
Bringing it back to us, many of us have nowhere near done some of the things this two man described have done in over lives. If the was a scale that would weigh our sins compared to them we would be the skinny boy on the scale and they would be the strong muscular guy on the football or rugby team. Yet we still feel think to ourselves that the Lord won’t forgive us for what we done in the past. Or we may have a misconception who God is. I use to be ashamed for my sin that put Jesus die for me on the cross but as time went by I realised that there is no shame in Christ Jesus. What had happened my understanding changed on how I saw things.
My word’s can’t seem to express the depth of my heart I feel for you.My voice is unable to utter the frequency at which you can tune into the affection & love that I have feel for you. My wish is that one day, you could see the reflection of my heart beat in my eyes. That when you hear me speak, you can feel the love in the tone of my voice. Every time I say in the simplest & plainest words “I love & care for you”
This is dedicated to my dearest friend who brings joy to my life. I am thankful to have known and met you. And that I have come to care for you in this past year as family. I wish you happy birthday and I hope you enjoy your day to the fulled and May the God Lord bless you.
