My Great Wall

I have walls up, down

To my left and right

All around me.

I have learned to become an architect.

In my past, I’ve been wracked.

People had come to my little village.

The came and left a mess.

Before I had no walls.

Now I have built one.

Its range goes as far as you sight can see

Its walls are as tall as the sky.

Before people they would come and go.

Now no one can enter my village.

My land has been empty of visitors

For years.

I have put up walls

Because you broke my heart.

Because not just once but twice.

Not only you but others too.

People entered my little village

And destroyed it.

My heart was the village.

The walls built to protect my village.

The bricks I used to build, were made up of…

Attitude, Distrust

Disappointment, Hurt

Prejudice, Pain

And Ignorance

The great wall now surround me.

The wall made my love grow cold.

The village lights no longer shine.

My heart has become darkened.

A brilliant architect I was.

I build a wall around my heart

To protect my heart from hurt and pain.

The wall that I build became my destroyer.

No longer can I feel, love, trust, or live.

People are not all bad.

I will build a new wall.

Built from all that good,

LOVE, JOY HAPPINESS, TRUST & UNDERSTANDING

My wall will be strong and immovable.

It will guard my heart and soul.

From the invaders.

From my enemies.

From those who mean my village harm.

I’ve been hurt many times in my life, and what hurts us the most is the people closed to us. We have learned to put up walls around ourselves to make it hurt less and over time, we have become dull to the pain. Heartbreak is the worst when the ones we love leave or reject us. We should not close ourselves to people. People will never be perfect, they will always make mistakes like we do. Guard your heart but in the process don’t cut of people from our lives. Let’s forgive one another. I want to share this scriptures that will help us both get back on the right path.

Guarding your heart

Proverbs 4:23

Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Let him in your heart (Jesus words to us).

John 10:10

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy, I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

He will guide us.

John 16:13

But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own, he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Love others

Matthew 22:37-39

Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Venting-Blowing off steam

We all need to vent to blow off some steam. Life is not always easy and is full of complication, challenges and problems that we all have to face everyday.

A good friend of mine one said to me “Kindness it does not always mean when I say something to you, I want advice or the works but just to get something of my chest”. Than it hit me we all need that be it writing on a blank page your deepest raw emotions or be it painting art work that depicts your truest self .

For many of us we have our friends. Well that what there are there for right. But things never turn out the way you want , if we can get them to keep quite a bit more and listen or agree with what you say at that time no matter how wrong you where.

If you keep something long enough on the inside it will eventually explode and you would not want that happening in the wrong place. So when you feel the kettle is reaching boiling point. It about time to find that person to vent too, if that fails pic up a pen and just write or screaming could work for you too. You never know.

How do you vent ?

Living a Spirit filled life

You may know his name.

His body was brutalized and left for dead.

His hand were nailed on the cross.

His feet bind together and nailed.

The anguish he felt as his flesh

Was torn apart from his body.

He paid the highest price, of all.

For only He could satisfy the law.

The law stood against God

It was met for good and for

The betterment of all.

But it to imprison us.

To death and sin, for we could

Not pay the price it demand.

For we fall short.

Never seeming able to do enough

After the cross He rose

Back to life by His Spirit

He told me that He also gave

You this Spirit, whom broke

the hold of death.

Liberated and set free and set apart

My flesh a living sacrifice

My spirit revived within

Death no longer reigns in me.

Only Peace and life.

Little Eden – connect social

As I sit in natures delight with friends and family all around I am in awe and wonder of natures beauty, And the one who designed and crafted that which my eyes see. your design so flawless and without blemish. Your creation speaks to me and I listen, Nature sings and it dances and moves in worship. The sun radiates with your joy, the winds breeze speaks of your strength and power, as it touch and moves against my skin giving glory to the Father.  The tree moves back and forth in sync with the rhythm of the wind. The bird chirping in the tress from the top of there small lungs an harmonious song of praise. God glory renowned over all the Earth!
